DESCRIPTION
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS
Albendazole can selectively and irreversibly impede glucose intake of intestinal helminth and affect the glycometabolis, thereby leading to glycogen depletion and triphosadenine synthesis reduction and finally kill the parasites.
INDICATION
As a broad spectrum, high-performance and low-toxicity anthelmintic agent, albendazole can effectively prevent and cure various helminth in animals such as cattle, sheep, goats, horses, camels, etc. It is also effective in prevention and treatment of infection of Fasciola hepatica in larva and imago stages, such as: intestinal nematodes, lung nematodes, roundworms, pinworm, immature pinworm and so on. It can also get rid of combined infection caused by diverse parasites.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Oral administration with a dosing gun. Recommended dosage: horses, cattle, calves, sheep, goats, camels, poultry, etc.: 0.2~0.3mL/kg body weight.
PRECAUTIONS
- For veterinary use only;
- Do not use during pregnancy period;
- Wash hands after use;
- Keep out the reach of children.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
- Animals must not be treated within 14 days of slaughter for human consumption;
- Animals must not be treated within 3 days of producing milk for human consumption.
